We are talking about computers and digital gadgets. Most of these things as based on computer technology. They connect to computers and are themselves little computers. What is the difference between a Sat Nav and a PDA? Not that much really, they both about the same size with colour screens and buttons. The difference is that the Sat Nav is a dedicated computer evolved from a PDA where as the PDA can do Sat Nav and a whole load of other things such as play music and show web pages (or is that the iPhone).
Yes we will visit you in North Essex and South Suffolk. Anywhere within about 30 miles of Colchester is fine but the first hour starts when we set off.
We have a workshop in Pebmarsh where we run a PC clinic. Please phone and arrange to bring your computer. However it may be better if we arrange to visit you.
We specialize in configuring digital electronic devices for small businesses and homes. We can usually get things working by reconfiguring the settings. We can provide advice on damaged equipment and are often able to make physical repairs. Not all equipment is economically repairable.
We will still need to charge even if we cannot fix it. However we can write a fault report which will assist you in claiming on insurance or obtaining a replacement from your vendor.
Our standard fee for a job is £40+VAT. This allows for the first hour including travelling time. Time after that is negotiable.
However we cannot guarantee that problems will not reoccur or that new problems will not surface. It is the nature of electronic devices that they will go wrong. Having us configure a device will not affect your guarantee with the supplier, however having us physically alter or repair the device probably will. The exception being fitting computer upgrades. We do also offer telephone support, which should be sufficient if you hit a nag after our visit.
This is a very old joke dating back to the 1700's. I live in Coggeshall or Coggershall as it was once spelt. A Coggeshall job was a bit of a poor job, a bit of a joke, half finished. However we now like to think of a Coggeshall Job as something which may not be pretty but does the job and serves it's purpose until a proper solution can be implemented. So if a Coggeshall Job will get you out of trouble then yes, we have done some.
